A free, fun-filled morning for families at Gosford Regional Library on Saturday 30 May.
Words on the Waves is one of the Central Coast’s most loved annual events — a writers’ festival that brings together authors, illustrators, storytellers, and the community in celebration of the written word. The Family Fun Day is the festival’s dedicated day for children and their families, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting partnership.

What to expect on the day
There’s something for every young adventurer. From face-painting and roving characters to live author sessions, a spectacular illustrator showdown, and an all-ages Juvenilia Exhibition — the programme is packed from start to finish.
Best Start ELC will be running our very own Craft & Activities Station from 9:30am to 1:30pm. Come and say hello, get creative with our team, and discover what makes Best Start a place where children’s curiosity truly comes to life. We’d love to meet you and your little ones.
