In Bright Beginnings our youngest members of the Best Start Early Learning Centre community are immersed in enriching experiences that promote sensory exploration, language development and emotional bonding. Our experienced educators provide individualised care to help foster secure attachments and emotional wellbeing.

Soft, padded play areas encourage safe exploration, while age-appropriate toys and materials engage children’s senses and encourage fine and gross motor skill development.

We recognise that families are their child’s first and most influential teachers. Embedded in our culture is the notion that families are a core part of our service and we work closely with parents to understand their child’s individual needs and preferences, including their daily routines and feeding schedules. By collaborating with families, we ensure that each child’s routine is kept as similar as possible to what they follow at home, providing a seamless transition between our care and yours.

Mindful Explorers

2-3 year old rooms – Billy Buttons and Banksias

Building on the nurturing and stimulating experiences provided during their infant years at Best Start Early Learning Centre, our toddlers now transition seamlessly into an environment specially crafted to meet their evolving needs and burgeoning curiosity.

In the Mindful Explorers zone, we provide a diverse array of engaging experiences crafted to extend and enrich the expanding minds of toddlers. Through hands-on activities like sensory play, art exploration, outdoor immersion and interactive STEM education, children have the opportunity to stimulate all their senses while fostering creativity and honing problem-solving abilities.

Our educators take a personalised approach to learning, observing each child’s unique interests, strengths and areas for growth. Based on these observations, we design educational plans that cater to each child’s specific needs and learning style. Whether it’s providing extra support for a child struggling with a particular concept or offering advanced challenges for those ready to take on new tasks, we ensure that every child receives the appropriate level of stimulation and encouragement to thrive.

Young Learners Hub

At Best Start Early Learning Centre, we’re passionate about setting your child up for success to take their first big steps into primary school. For those in our Young Learners Hub we focus on a school readiness program that is designed to ignite their love for learning while equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in the classroom.

Through a mix of engaging activities, interactive learning experiences and hands-on projects, we focus on key areas such as literacy, numeracy, problem-solving and social skills development. From storytime adventures that transport them to magical worlds to fun-filled math games that make numbers come alive, every day is an opportunity for growth and discovery.

Our experienced educators provide personalised attention, nurturing each child’s unique talents and interests and celebrating their achievements every step of the way.
